Field Service Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a specialist rail engineering company providing depot maintenance services across the UK rail network.

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their nationwide team, working primarily across the Midlands and South of England. This is a long-term, stable position with regular overtime, excellent benefits, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Package offered for this Field Service Engineer role :
  • Salary : £39,720 per annum
  • Location : Nationwide
  • Benefits : Company van and fuel card, overtime available most weeks, on-call rota 1 in 14, with on-call payment, travel and accommodation covered when required, 22 days holiday + bank holidays, ongoing training and professional development

  • Previous experience in field-based service or depot maintenance, ideally in the rail sector
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficientlyConfident using mobile technology for reporting and job management
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
