A leading laboratory instrumentation company is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the South / Midlands area of the UK. This role involves providing field-based service support for NIR and Wet Chemistry instrumentation. You will receive full training from experienced Field Service Engineers and will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and breakdown support, ensuring all activities are documented thoroughly. Regular travel across the UK and Ireland is required, along with the opportunity to identify business growth during customer visits.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with FOSS NIR instruments and wet chemistry systems is essential.
• Strong organization and reporting skills are necessary.
• Ability to work independently across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled service and maintenance on instrumentation.
• Provide diagnostics and breakdown repairs.
• Manage service visits including travel and activity reporting.
• Identify business opportunities during customer interactions.
