Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair CNC machine tools across the UK. This role offers a basic salary between £32,500 and £37,500, with an OTE of £45,500 to £52,500 based on overtime. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, strong CNC knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills. Travel is paid door-to-door, and a company car is provided.

The Role
  • Service, maintain, and repair CNC machine tools at customer sites across the UK.
  • Deliver expert fault-finding and technical support to reduce downtime.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through professionalism and high-quality service.
  • Standard 37.5-hour week with consistent opportunities for overtime.
What’s on Offer
  • Basic salary: £32,500 - £37,500 (depending on experience).
  • OTE: £45,500 - £52,500 (based on approx. 10 hours overtime per week).
  • Overtime paid at: Time and a half after 37.5 hours and on Saturdays.
  • Double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
  • Paid door-to-door travel.
  • Company car (Skoda - model choice available).
About You
  • At least 5 years' experience in CNC machine tool servicing.
  • Strong CNC knowledge; experience with specific OEMs is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in fault-finding and problem-solving.
  • Able to work independently while representing the company in a customer-facing role.
