Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based in Sheffield for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client are a large, growing and reputable manufacturer and supplier of construction equipment on a national and international scale.

• Salary: £17.45 - £19.36 per hour
• Location: Sheffield
• Type of Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 40 hours plus overtime

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on earthmoving equipment.
• Carry out servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery.
• Diagnostic work and fault-finding.
• Participate in the early stages with the effective processing of warranty claims.
• Escalate actions in relation to broken or damaged company equipment.
• Coordinate with customers, ensuring their requirements are understood and met.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical engineering experience.
• Heavy Plant or agriculture experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in a related industry.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to run diagnostic repairs.
