Job description

Overview

Location: Maidstone, Kent, UK, ME15 6

Our client is a leading manufacturer of woodwork machinery. The role involves machine service and repair activities throughout South East England. Excellent package including overtime with 'door to door' pay, company car + credit card, fuel card, generous daily expenses allowance. OTE £45K - £50K per annum.

The Role

Reporting to the service manager, you will be responsible for effective delivery of professional mechanical & electrical maintenance, service and repair of woodworking machinery.

• Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Mechanical maintenance: removal and replacement of broken/worn components such as chains, sprockets, linear bearings, and ball screws.
• Fault finding and repair on pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Electrical maintenance: fault finding and repair on motors, servos, 415V and 24V circuits (ability to read electrical schematics/drawings is essential).
• Machine installation & commissioning.

Candidate

The successful candidate will have excellent mechanical and three-phase electrical maintenance experience. Knowledge of CNC or woodworking machinery would be ideal. You should demonstrate good customer service and communication skills and be of a friendly disposition. Applicants with previous woodwork machinery or CNC machine maintenance experience would be beneficial.
