A leading supplier of automated vehicle wash systems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs in Northern England and Scotland. Candidates must be competent engineers with 3-phase electrical and mechanical skills. A qualification in engineering is ideal, while previous experience with vehicle wash systems is a plus.   • Undertake machine installations and maintenance.
  • Attend machinery breakdowns for fault finding and repairs.
  • Conduct scheduled planned maintenance checks.
  • Record accurate visit reports on computer systems.

Job description

Our client is a leading supplier of automated vehicle wash systems and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer.

Role

The field service engineer will undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout Northern England & Scotland.

  • Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning
  • Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault find and repair work
  • Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks
  • Ensure accurate visit reports including details of work undertaken/completed is recorded on computer system
Candidate

You will be a competent engineer with excellent 3-phase electrical and mechanical fault find and repair skills.

Ideally you will have recognised qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering and previous work experience with vehicle wash systems would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.

Ideally you have 17th or 18th edition electrical wiring regs certification.

You will be computer literate and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be comfortable with working outdoors.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 45 Hours
