A privately owned, well respected business supplies company is looking to hire a dedicated, enthusiastic & entrepreneurial Field Sales Executive to join their team.

If your a person with an enthusiasm for sales and keen to work with a company which has a real family feel, where getting the balance right between work and life outside work is important, then this might be just the job for you.

There are already a number of long-standing client accounts for you to manage as well as a large geography across the Stroud area for new sales opportunities. As this company\'s new Field Sales Executive, it will be your great people skills and your aptitude for building great customer relationships that they\'re looking for, along with your skill for securing new sales.

You\'ll be given full training on the company\'s product range so that you\'re well placed to be a successful member of their Field Sales Executive team. You\'ll have the backing of an established supply chain and a reliable distribution network to make sure the logistics team can deliver on your promises and you\'ll have full support from the company\'s Sales and Management Teams too who will be available for guidance, advice and encouragement as you develop in your new role.

This is a field based Sales Executive role covering the Stroud area, so living in this region is important. Although most of your work will be done in the field, you\'ll be provided you with everything you need to complete all of your administration from home. This company is a family orientated firm and they encourage a healthy work/life balance for all their employees so they won\'t expect you to be out on the road all day and then to do your admin in the evenings and weekends!

Responsibilities
  • Managing current client accounts, maximising sales and introducing new and different offerings and solutions
  • Working with customers from five star luxury hotels and spas to large schools, public sector offices and private businesses
  • Showcasing supplier offers at face to face meetings
  • Gaining strategic new client wins
  • Supporting post-sale to ensure a smooth welcome to new customers
Skills & Experience
  • Having experience of selling business to business (B2B) would be ideal but this isn\'t necessarily essential as the most important attribute to us is your enthusiasm for sales, your skills in winning new business, and your ability to manage your time strategically.
  • You\'ll have the confidence to book and attend sales visits and the skills to convert visits into sales
  • You\'ll be happy to work alone and to book your own sales meetings with current customers and with new clients
  • You will have the enthusiasm and self motivation to succeed
  • A driving licence is essential for this position
