A local support service is looking for a female support worker aged 18-35 to assist a young adult in the Swindon area. The role involves walking with the client and their dog, helping with purchases, teaching public transport use, and exploring new activities together. Applicants should be active, reliable, and have a genuine love for dogs. The position offers £14 per hour for 4 hours a week, with flexible scheduling.
I’m a 20-year-old looking for support to be more independent in my community. I don’t use a wheelchair but can get tired and need help sometimes. I’m chatty once I get to know you, and I enjoy trying new things if they involve dogs.
What you’ll help me with:
This role involves providing support outside the home.
You’ll work 4 hours per week, scheduled between 10:00am and 2:00pm on weekdays. Shifts may be arranged as either one 4-hour session or two 2-hour sessions, depending on the planned activities and preferences.
