She requires support in her home with meal preparation and tidying, as well as assistance to access the community (e.g., going swimming, shopping). EC also requires PA support in her workplace, where she is a college teacher. This includes:

  • Helping her access areas and move around the workplace
  • Assisting with printouts and organising paperwork
  • Supporting with dictation during 1:1 meetings
  • Offering emotional support (though EC is generally positive and happy)
Role requirements
  • Provide support both in EC\'s home and in her community.
  • Offer PA assistance at her workplace.
  • Be flexible to cover additional shifts during holidays/sickness.
  • Be able to drive or reliably use public transport for early mornings starts.
What the role involves
  • Supporting EC with meal preparation and light household tasks.
  • Assisting EC with accessing the community (swimming, shopping, outings).
  • Providing workplace support including printouts, paperwork, and dictation.
  • Being a role model while respecting EC\'s independence, privacy, and values.
  • Ensuring professionalism, punctuality, and attentiveness in all environments.
  • Compassionate and respectful of others\' independence.
  • Able to balance support with giving space and privacy when needed.
  • Attentive, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Positive, professional, and aligned with KEYFORT\'s vision and values.
  • Experience in health or social care is helpful but not essential - the right person is more important than the perfect CV.
Benefits
  • A contract that works for you; fixed hour contract for part or full-time hours, or a more flexible zero-hour contract.
  • Paid Annual Leave; 5.6 weeks annual leave (Pro rata for part time roles) on a fixed-hours contract or 12.07% accrual on zero-hour contracts (funds can be drawn at your discretion).
  • Training, Mentoring and Shadowing programmes with our in-house RGN, Occupational Therapist and Psychologists.

  • Paid Enhanced DBS check.
