Female Personal Care Assistant (DP/RP39)

This role is compliant with the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Work: exceptions, Part 1, Occupational requirements).

Full time, working with another Personal Care Assistant.

Rate of pay £12.60 per hour.

Location: Callands area of Warrington.

Personal Assistant is required to assist a young lady, a full-time wheelchair user with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

Hours Available
  • 12 hour shifts, 8AM-8PM weekdays and weekends available.
  • 12 hour shifts, waking nights 8PM-8AM week / weekends available.
  • One waking night shift, hours to be arranged at interview stage – could be split.
  • 12 hour weekdays and weekend, to be arranged at interview stage.
  • These hours are not on a rota, but could be split.

This role will involve working with another Personal Care Assistant.

About

This young lady lives in her family home with her family. She enjoys being around people and socialising, dining out, watching her favourite comedies and has a great sense of humour and understanding.

Duties
  • Fully comprehensive care.
  • Personal care.
  • Assistance with feeding.
  • Assistance with social activities and general daily life.
  • Household duties.

Essential Requirements
  • Female (due to personal care).
  • Driving licence and over 25 for insurance on mobility vehicle.
  • Experience in care work, lifting and handling, PEG feeding, feeding and swallowing experience.
  • Experience with administering medication.
  • Experience in dealing with seizures.

Ideal candidates will have common sense, a good sense of humour, bubbly outgoing personality.
