Paying £27,500 - £28,500 basic salary depending on experience.
Realistic total earnings of £35,000 - £38,500+ per year depending on hours worked and seasonal activity.
During your probationary period, overtime is paid hourly as worked (particularly during busy seasons).
After successful completion of probation, a salaried package will be agreed which reflects the typical seasonal overtime requirement for the role.
There remains scope for additional overtime during peak workloads.

A specialist contract farming business, providing arable services covering over 1,500 hectares of cereals and potatoes, utilising modern farm machinery to ensure efficient and effective cropping.
We are now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Farm Machinery Operator with a "can‑do" attitude to join this progressive farming system. The cutting‑edge machinery this farm uses reflects commitment to quality and operational excellence.
Deliver high‑quality service to customers.
Operate farm machinery, including Fendt and Massey Ferguson tractors and attached implements for agricultural tasks such as primary and secondary cultivations.
Carry out spraying and fertiliser applications with a trailed Horch Leeb.
Carry out relief combining using Claas Lexion 7600.
Potato planting and harvesting with Grimme and Standen machinery.
Conduct pre‑operational checks and routine maintenance on tractors and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Collaborate with the arable team to plan and execute field operations effectively.
General farm work — undertake tasks such as trailer work, irrigation, excavator, and loader work.
Proven experience as a Tractor Operator or Tractor Driver in the agriculture or farming industry.
Cultivation experience.
Spraying experience.
PA1, PA2, PA4S&G certifications.
Telehandler ticket.
Familiar with GPS‑guided machinery and precision farming technologies.
Flexible to assist with tasks like irrigation, drainage and more.
Flexible to work extended hours, including weekends, especially during peak seasons.
Valid Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good physical condition, capable of working in various weather conditions.
