A leading healthcare trust in Weymouth is looking for a dedicated individual to join the Facilities Team. The role focuses on providing effective cleaning services to meet NHS standards, while also supporting portering and catering tasks. This part-time position of 20 hours per week offers full training and generous annual leave. Suitable candidates should be motivated, able to work as part of a team, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards within the hospital environment.
An opportunity has arisen at Weymouth Hospital to join the Facilities Team, with the main emphasis on Cleaning duties in the role, This is a multi tasking role focuses on cleaning duties within the role, whilst supporting ad-hoc porter or catering duties. Our Facilities team members perform a vital part of our hard working team and without them the Hospital would not be able to operate.
Provide an effective cleaning service, to meet NHS cleanliness standards as a minimum. Working across the main hospital, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, clinic spaces, corridors and stairwells.
Provision of appropriate portering services which will include the safe moving and storing of deliveries and equipment, performing routine health and safety tasks and supporting the general team in their activities.
To contribute to the delivery of Catering Services in the Hospital. Ad-hoc support to assist in the production of sandwiches/salads and deliver patient food.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated and able to work as part of a team and also on their own. Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

We have a part time position, for 20 hours per week, working 8pm-8pm each weekday evening, with an opportunity to work additional hours for annual leave cover as hours arise.
