Overview

We are looking motivated and enthusiastic people with a flexible approach to work to join our Facilities team within Patient catering as a ward based caterer at the University Hospital of Wales.


The vacancy is permanent and various hours are available between 15:00 and 19:30 and any five from seven days.


Responsibilities


  • Current food hygiene certification required.

  • Good customer care skills and ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of catering within a hospital environment, COSHH, health & safety and infection control would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.

  • Adapt to an ever changing health care environment, organise and prioritise workloads.


Qualifications


  • Ability to adapt to an ever changing health care environment.

  • Organised, experience of working in a busy service and prioritise workloads according to schedules and service needs.

  • Good organisational and communication skills, knowledge of delivering a quality service to patients, relatives and staff.

  • Speak Welsh desirable, Welsh & English equal welcome.
