Overview

We are delighted to be supporting our well-established client in recruiting a Facilities/Maintenance Operative to join their friendly team. They have several storage facilities located across Wiltshire and due to recent expansion, they are recruiting for the Corsham site on a permanent basis. This is a full-time and permanent role with progression opportunities available, including Forklift training.

Responsibilities
  • General maintenance tasks including repairs, basic decoration works, completing like-for-like electrical changes and basic plumbing
  • Routine maintenance of equipment and plant under a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule
  • Forklift use (full training given)
  • Keeping storage areas and main gangways clean and tidy, use of ride-on sweeper
  • Collection and processing of cardboard and plastic waste for recycling
  • Assembling/dismantling office furniture
  • Assembling/dismantling racking storage systems
  • Working as part of a team on ad-hoc projects/duties
  • Assisting specialist contractors

  • Physically fit and able to undertake duties

Days of Work: Monday - Friday

Hours: 08:00 - 16:00

Salary: £26,212.00 per annum
