A recruitment consultancy is seeking an External Sales Engineer to manage and grow customer relationships in the South of the UK. This hybrid role offers comprehensive training and the opportunity to work closely with a sales team in the EDM and CNC sectors. Ideal candidates will be confident, results-oriented, and have relevant sales experience, preferably with knowledge of EDM or CNC machining.

Job description
External Sales Engineer - CNC/EDM

Following continued growth of our Client in the UK and internationally for the supply of EDM components and tooling, we are looking to recruit an additional External Sales Engineer to help take our business to the next level.

We are therefore looking for a confident, hardworking sales professional ideally with experience in EDM / Graphite; however a background in CNC manufacturing & consumable sales will be viewed favourably. Representing the full product range from fully manufactured graphite parts to EDM consumables, this will be a role with scope and opportunity for growth.

The successful applicant will undergo comprehensive training to fully familiarise themselves with the processes within the company from both an administrative viewpoint and a manufacturing one. During this time, the successful applicant will also shadow the existing external team to customers within the various industries that Erodex service.

With responsibility for a geographic area within the South of the UK, this will be a role suited to someone ideally based within the area. The candidate will be required to manage workloads and customer demands.

The successful applicant will

This is a hybrid working role with a close working connectivity with the existing sales team and organisation.
