Overview

A Vacancy at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. We are a large and dynamic Speech and Language Therapy service of around 100 staff, working across all service areas in Derbyshire. This exciting opportunity has arisen in the children’s team and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced speech and language therapist with specialist skills in working with DLD and speech sound disorders.

Responsibilities

The role will provide a clinical service to children and young people with a range of communication difficulties in a variety of settings, including education, nurseries, clinics and clients’ homes.

Details

The role is 0.5 WTE and covers the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Area. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered, mobile between locations, and proficient in delivering high‑quality evidence‑based practice with leadership support within an SLT service. They will work alongside a friendly team, with line management support, clinical supervision, and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

Postgraduate experience in DLD and speech sound disorders. HCPC registration. Ability to work in community settings and provide patient‑focused care.
