All about the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our team in the Peterborough Fostering Service.
We are keen to hear from you if you share our enthusiasm andcommitment for fostering. You will be supported by experienced, permanent managers and become a member of a knowledgeable staff team. You will have a passion for developing positive working relationships with foster carers and the children they care for; providing them with regular supervision and support. The role of asupervising social worker is unique in providing the opportunity to build professional relationships with fostering families, the children, and young people they care for and all the professionals involved in supporting the care arrangements.
Participate in the out of hours Foster Carers Support Line rota providing essential guidance and advice to the Fostering Community in Peterborough.
