A supportive primary school in Ebbw Vale is looking for an Experienced ALN Primary Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. This temporary role starts on Thursday, 3rd March and runs provisionally until July. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Experienced ALN Primary Teacher - Ebbw Vale
Days: Thursdays and Fridays
Start Date: 3rd March
Contract: Temporary (provisionally until July)

We are seeking an Experienced ALN Primary Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Ebbw Vale on a part-time basis, working two days per week.

This opportunity is ideal for an Experienced ALN Primary Teacher with a strong background in supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including those with complex and diverse needs. The role is based in Ebbw Vale and would suit a practitioner who is confident delivering inclusive, tailored provision.

This Experienced ALN Primary Teacher position involves teaching and supporting primary-aged pupils with ALN, working closely with experienced support staff and the wider school team to ensure positive outcomes for learners.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Be an Experienced ALN Primary Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have proven experience supporting pupils with ALN/SEN

  • Ideally have worked within a special school or Specialist Resource Base (SRB) setting

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and inclusive teaching practices

  • Be patient, nurturing, and committed to pupil wellbeing
