Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with exceptional organisational skills? We are looking to appoint a professional, proactive, and personable Executive Assistant (EA) to the Dean of London Business School. The EA provides high-quality, comprehensive support to the Dean in his role as the School's Chief Executive Officer, managing the Dean's schedule, correspondence, meetings, travel and external engagements, ensuring he is fully prepared for all commitments. This role leads the two‑person Dean's Office and includes line management of the Executive Assistant in the Dean's Office. The postholder represents the Dean's Office professionally, exercising sound judgment, discretion and strong stakeholder management at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Organisation and management of the Dean's schedule in line with the immediate and longer‑term priorities of the School
  • Planning and organisation of all aspects of overseas trips made by the Dean
  • Co-ordination of relevant briefings, information and logistics in a timely and efficient manner for all meetings, events and overseas travel
  • Projection of a positive, professional image for the Dean's Office, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provision of support for the Dean in managing multiple and often urgent tasks in a timely manner, flagging priorities and following up as necessary
  • Proofreading correspondence to be issued by the Dean to ensure that it conforms to the School's brand and style guidelines
Qualifications
  • C suite EA experience
  • First‑class planning and organisational ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a highly developed grammatical knowledge
  • Highly developed relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Capable of working under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Diplomatic but assertive when required
