Exams Officer

We are seeking an Exams Officer to administer the exams process for the College, leading the exams team and supporting cross‑college staff to ensure all awarding body and JCQ regulations are successfully met.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the exams team and manage the entire exams process.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for awarding bodies and coordinate examinations and assessments.
  • Register or enter candidates for examination or assessment.
  • Work closely with the Learning Support team to implement examination access arrangements and reasonable adjustments for eligible candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body and JCQ regulations.
Qualifications
  • General education including at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) to at least Grade C, including English.
  • Experience of working with effective management systems and administrative procedures.
  • Awareness of exams processes within an educational setting and confidence in the use of bespoke software.
