A UK-based healthcare provider is seeking an Evening Housekeeper to join their team. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, working closely with nursing staff, managing ward supplies, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies. The position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills. Hours are three hours every evening from Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an evening Housekeeper. The hours will be three hours every evening from Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
You will work as an integral part of the ward team and be responsible for the coordination of all patient facilities and services in the ward. The main priority will be to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all service users.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning and minor maintenance, together with other specific tasks to meet individual patients' needs, as determined by the ward manager.
You will be required to work closely with contractors and support services and departments. They will monitor quality standards and rectify deficiencies. You will also be responsible for the ordering and storage of ward supplies.
