In this senior role, you will sell complex scientific technologies to pharmaceutical and biotech customers, managing major accounts and building new business. Job description

A leading provider of analytical services, instruments and delivery systems in the spray & aerosol sector is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive commercial growth across Europe. This senior-level role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who excels at selling complex, high-value, CAPEX equipment & scientific technologies to pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers.

You will be responsible for managing B2B sales of the company's specialist products & systems which will include managing major accounts, developing new business, building a strong pipeline, and representing the company at industry conferences. This position requires a strategic, consultative seller with experience engaging with stakeholders up to C-suite level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales of analytical instrumentation and related systems
  • Build and grow business with new and existing customers across Europe.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and support customer evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs in CRM (Salesforce or similar).
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer needs and communicate insights to internal teams.
  • Contribute to new product specifications, pricing recommendations, and commercial strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5 years' experience selling analytical instrumentation and/or complex scientific systems to pharmaceutical/biotech clients is a must
  • Experience in the spray & aerosol sector is highly advantageous
  • Experience operating independently in a remote role across multiple countries.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific discipline.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (30-40%)

The ideal candidate will be located near to an international airport in the UK. You will be compensated with a highly competitive package.
