Qualifications

  • Knowledge of traditional and design & build contracts.

Due to sustained growth and new project wins, the company is looking to recruit an experiencedEstimator / Quantity Surveyorto support both pre-construction and live project delivery. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility between office, site, and home working.

You’ll be involved in tender pricing, cost planning, budget management, and providing commercial support throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans across multiple sectors
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Monitor and manage budgets from tender through to final account
  • Produce valuations, variations, and final account documentation
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure commercial efficiency
  • Conduct site visits and attend pre-construction meetings

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of fit-out, refurbishment, and new build projects
  • Knowledge of both traditional and design & build contracts
  • Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Full UK driving licence
