The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of estimating experience in the telecoms, utilities, or construction sectors and possess strong analytical skills. The role demands excellent communication and a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience estimating within the telecoms/utilities/construction industry.
  • Demonstration of knowledge in planning and construction/telecoms activities and contracts.
  • Ability to analyze project plans and client requirements.

Circet UK is currently looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join our Team!

The chosen candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimation across a range of projects in the following Business Units :

  • Transport Technology
  • Fixed Telecoms
  • Wireless
  • Power
Key responsibilities include :
  • Cost Analysis : reviewing and analysing project plans and client requirements / documents to calculate the costs of labour, plant, materials and project overheads.
  • Cost Modeling : using cost modeling techniques to consider the impact of factors such as inflation, exchange rates, and risk on the overall commercial offering.
  • Data Gathering : research costs, obtain quotes from suppliers, and analyse data to inform estimates and commence the procurement process.
  • Proposal Development : contribute to the development of proposals by providing cost estimates and budget information.
  • Cost Tracking and Monitoring : working with Commercial colleagues to review actual costs during the project lifecycle assisting to ensure that projects stay within budget and providing insight and intelligence into future bids
  • Risk Assessment : assess potential risks to
Skills and Knowledge Requirements :
  • Industry applicable qualification
  • 2+ years of experience estimating within the telecoms / utilities / construction industry
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of planning and construction / telecoms activities and contracts.
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
