Job description

My client is expanding their estimating team, offering you the chance to join one of the largest family-run construction businesses in the region and work on diverse, high-value projects that will genuinely develop your career.

As an Estimator, you'll have the opportunity to produce cost plans from RIBA stage 0 through to stage 3, lead tender enquiry processes, and work collaboratively with the supply chain to deliver value engineering solutions. You'll be taking off from drawings using Autodesk Design Review and Bluebeam, managing subcontractor comparisons, pricing site preliminaries, and presenting tender information to project teams.

This role gives you exposure to various procurement routes including D&B, Traditional and 2 Stage, whilst working alongside an established team of professionals who will support your development through guidance and training from senior leadership.

This Estimator position would suit an intermediate estimator ready to take the next step with a stable, expanding organisation, or an experienced estimator looking to join a larger main contractor where you can share your expertise within a collaborative team environment. You'll bring strong organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, and the ability to think commercially whilst working under pressure.

Experience with Causeway and Excel estimating software would enhance your application, as would a background in commercial, MOD, education or healthcare projects.
