Job description

As an Equipment Specialist in our Offshore Equipment Operations Service and Maintenance department at Siemens Gamesa, your day will involve supporting workshops and offshore installation projects to ensure equipment uptime and a safe work environment. You will be part of a global team based in Denmark, United Kingdom, Taiwan, and the US, dedicated to delivering world-class services for transporting, installing, and servicing wind turbines worldwide. Your role will include providing technical support, training users, and collaborating with engineering and product development teams to enhance equipment functionality.

Responsibilities
  • Support workshops and provide 24/7 hotline assistance alongside other specialists.
  • Train users in the proper use of equipment as needed.
  • Enhance equipment uptime for offshore installation projects.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Demonstrate punctual business sense regarding economy and functionality.
  • Advise engineering/product development on new equipment development.
  • Ensure fulfillment of relevant KPIs.
  • Support the preparation of procedures and planning of retrofits and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and business understanding.
  • Technical understanding and a hands‑on attitude.
  • Experience working in an ISO environment and quality management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in wind turbine installation.
  • Ability to organize your work to meet deadlines and respond promptly to information requests.
  • Detail‑oriented, result‑oriented, and an excellent communicator.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Alternative qualifications and experiences are welcome.
