Job description
Overview

Our new electronic patient record (EPR) will be the biggest and most important transformational change for South London and Maudsley (SLaM). It will change the way we use and share information by having real‑time data about our patients wherever and whenever we need it.

Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in the delivery and implementation of the EPR, creating content and coordinating engagement and communications activity to agreed deadlines.
  • Work with the EPR Programme team on planning, identifying and delivering communications, engagement and other programme activities to drive awareness and understanding of the programme.
  • Provide a comprehensive and highly effective approach to programme communications and engagement to ensure staff, patients, the public and stakeholders understand and are engaged in ensuring our plans benefit patient care and the communities we serve.
  • Use change communications best practice and work in partnership with colleagues to help shape and deliver a successful strategy to engage colleagues from all services in delivering the transformation required.
  • Use own initiative to identify communication needs and opportunities.
