A local government authority is seeking an Environmental Protection Team Leader to guide their environmental health initiatives. This role involves supporting the Environmental Health Manager, managing technical staff, and collaborating to ensure service accountability and quality. The successful candidate will need strong service delivery experience, excellent technical knowledge, and innovative thinking to improve local processes and standards. Environmental Protection Team Leader (RP0141)
Starting salary £50,696 pa with progression to £53,953 pa through annual increments subject to satisfactory service (inclusive of outer fringe allowance). 37 hours per week (hybrid working).
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and capable professional with proven experience in service delivery. A track record of seeing complex cases through to conclusion and seeking service improvements. You’ll bring excellent technical knowledge, a passion for your service area with excellent time‑management skills and an innovative approach.
This is a high‑impact role at the heart of a prominent public‑facing service, offering the opportunity to shape standards across the borough.
