Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking Facilities Environmental Auditors to join the Divisional Service Improvement team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
As an Environmental Auditor, you will support the Facilities teams by planning and carrying out systematic environmental and health & safety audits across the Health Board.
Your role will help ensure compliance with environmental legislation, internal policies, and national NHS standards.
The hours are 37.5 per week to be worked over various shifts including, 08: 00am - 16:00pm and 12:00pm - 8:00pm
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Carry out environmental audits in accordance with National Cleaning Standards and ABUHB Catering Standards, ensuring compliance across all designated areas. Monitor and compile data on:
Monitor Compliance: Check adherence to waste management procedures and staff uniform policy, reporting any concerns promptly.
Data Collection & Reporting: Compile audit data, highlight non-compliance, and produce accurate reports for management review.
Patient & Visitor Surveys: Carry out surveys on cleanliness and catering services to gather feedback and identify improvement areas.
Communication & Liaison: Maintain effective communication with Ward/Department Managers and Facilities teams before, during, and after audits.
