HSE Manager
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced over the past two years through successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While the role is multi-site, it requires a hands-on approach to all aspects of Health and Safety, not just oversight.
The manufacturing environment's unique nature necessitates previous experience in radiation and/or radioactivity, including creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
As the business plans to expand its facilities, the HSE Manager will also be responsible for developing new documentation and processes for implementation.
The position is primarily remote, with an expectation to travel within the UK approximately once per month. Flexibility to travel is essential, and a car/car allowance will be provided.
Initially, there will be a requirement to spend 3 days on-site at a South-East Surrey facility within the first 6 months to address immediate challenges.
