Entry Level Sales & Marketing Assistant

A leading carbon and energy consultancy based near Stockport is looking for an Entry Level Sales & Marketing Assistant to join their growing team. This is a hybrid position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative sustainability projects while supporting both Business Development and Marketing functions.

Responsibilities
  • Qualify new leads and respond to incoming customer enquiries
  • Manage and maintain CRM records (Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus)
  • Draft and format professional sales proposals
  • Keep the sales pipeline updated and accurate
  • Support client onboarding, including communication and documentation
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to provide key materials and admin support
  • Liaise with internal teams for proposal content and service updates
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support strategy
  • Assist in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, direct mail, etc.)
  • Format and prepare content for blogs, case studies, and social media posts
  • Track industry trends and share insights with the team
  • Align marketing activities with sales goals through cross-functional coordination
  • Create sales and marketing collateral to support business development initiatives
Qualifications
  • (Ideally) a degree in a marketing or administrative discipline
  • (Ideally) previous experience in a Sales Support, Marketing, or Administrative role
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • CRM experience - Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Live in or near to Stockport
