GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and passionate English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Leicester, rated "Good" by Ofsted. Position: English Teacher
Location: Leicester
Salary: £31,650 to £49,084 per annum, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behavior and student discipline.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• A valid DBS on the update service or must be willing to get one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred but not essential for exceptional candidates.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.
• Due to the location of the school, a car would be benifitial.
