Are you an Engineering Contracts Manager looking for a new opportunity within the Rail industry?

Annual Salary: Competitive (Details upon application)

Location: London Bridge, London

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Day‑to‑day responsibilities
  • Take ownership of engineering contracts, delivering high-quality commercial expertise.
  • Support business planning and lead contract negotiations.
  • Produce new contracts and variations to existing agreements.
  • Provide expert advice and act as a trusted partner to Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Commercial Managers.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and relevant commercial and financial information to shape critical business decisions.
  • Manage and mentor the Rolling Stock Contracts Manager, ensuring regular check‑ins and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Required skills & qualifications
  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent level of experience.
  • Qualified or working towards a recognised Engineering or Contract Management professional qualification.
  • Excellent commercial and financial awareness.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of contractual frameworks, preferably within the Railway Industry.
  • Proven experience in an Engineering or Commercial environment.
  • Experience in the rail or similar transport/franchise industry is desirable but not essential.
