About the Role

We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the design and assessment of safe, efficient foundations and structures by analyzing soil, rock, and groundwater conditions. This position involves both office-based engineering work and occasional fieldwork for site investigations and project supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and coordinate geotechnical site investigations, including in-situ testing, geophysical surveys, and laboratory analysis.
  • Analyze field and laboratory data to develop recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, excavation support, and earth-retaining structures.
  • Prepare engineering reports, design drawings, plans, and specifications for grading, utilities, roadwork, and geotechnical mitigation projects.
  • Assist with project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and supervising field programs while ensuring environmental and safety compliance.
  • Communicate technical findings to clients, sub-consultants, and internal teams; attend meetings and provide support during construction monitoring.
  • Contribute to specialized projects such as dam safety assessments or marine/coastal infrastructure when required.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or related Engineering field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3–7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, including site investigations, construction field assessment, and design work.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng./P.E.) designation or eligibility to obtain it.
Required Skills
  • Experience in construction monitoring, slope stabilization, and/or seismic design.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable geotechnical practices.
  • Strong numerical analysis, reporting, and scheduling abilities.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
