As an Engagement Manager, you will work with both late-stage prospects and current customers in a forward-facing role. You will be responsible for pre-sales scoping through successful delivery and value realization, helping enterprises shorten their time to value with Writer AI apps. You will collaborate closely with the Sales team as prospects evaluate Writer and during delivery to scope when they become customers. Your role involves providing business and technical expertise to uncover, validate, and scope use-cases, aiming to reduce time to value, ensure successful project outcomes, gain alignment on scope, and clarify what a successful implementation looks like. You will ensure a seamless transition from pre to post-sale and own end-to-end delivery, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Your positivity, curiosity, and ability to create champions from early adopters in the AI writing space will help shape our culture. If you have a builder mentality, this is the role for you.

You will report to our VP of Technical Delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Partnering with our Account Executives in use-case validation calls as the expert to uncover how customers and prospects can use Writer solutions, including custom templates, APIs, and Writer Framework.
  2. Engaging in strategic selling and clearly articulating the value of Writer's AI delivery approach (blueprint for success).
  3. Communicating limitations and proposing solutions, including custom app scope, resource needs, and timelines.
  4. Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the Writer platform, the AI and LLM landscape, and our customers' ecosystems to offer effective solution recommendations.
  5. Writing scope or statements of work for identified use cases and custom applications.
  6. Acting as a resource and liaison for our implementation team, ensuring they understand the customer's AI readiness, desired outcomes, use cases, and scope of work.

☆ Is this you?

  • 5+ years of experience in technical and/or professional services roles within SaaS, including services sales or delivery roles (both pre- and post-sales experience is valued).
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 customers in a high-growth, B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience with generative AI and prompt engineering is a significant plus.
  • Understanding of and experience working with APIs.
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of translating complex technical concepts into practical business language for non-technical audiences.
  • Highly versatile, able to lead discovery sessions with multiple stakeholders to uncover use cases and business pain points.
  • Customer outcome-oriented, focused on delivering solutions that generate meaningful business results.
  • Experience working across various customer stakeholders and teams.
