Events Co‑ordinator at Kent Students’ Union Trading Ltd (KUTL), the commercial arm of Kent Students’ Union.

Overview

Re‑launching the Give it a Go (GIAG) programme, which offers one‑off events and activities designed to help our diverse student body build connections and feel settled. GIAG is open to all students at the University of Kent, providing a variety of activities—from craft sessions, sports, and trips off campus—to help students make connections, develop skills, and feel belonging.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and coordinate events for the GIAG programme and university open days.
  • Work independently and proactively, applying innovative and creative approaches to event planning.
  • Collaborate across departments to showcase why students should choose Kent.
  • Adapt to weekend and evening working hours as necessary for open days and other events.
Qualifications
  • Innovative, creative, and experienced in delivering events.
  • Proactive, able to work independently.
  • Confident in collaborating across departments.
  • Adaptable and flexible with working hours, including weekends and evenings.
Benefits
  • Salary: £27,263 per annum.
  • Full‑time hours: 35 hours per week.
  • Annual leave: 34 days (full‑time equivalent).
