Employment Law Team
- The team comprises 15 members working with a wide range of KPMG's client-facing businesses.
- The team is rapidly growing, having expanded from 1 to 3 Partners in the past 18 months.
- The team handles workforce and pay compliance, workforce change, HR/ER advisory work, and global employment projects.
- The applicant should be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, willing to work differently from traditional law firms, and eager to contribute to team growth.
Experience Required:
- Significant experience at a reputable practice in a well-regarded employment team, though other relevant experience will be considered.
- Confident client-facing employment lawyer with strong technical, supervisory, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive in managing and progressing matters effectively.
- Experience in handling complex, high-value employment law matters for large clients.
- Some supervisory experience and demonstrated business development skills.
- Ability to present to clients, train colleagues, and lead pitches and proposals.
- Understanding of ensuring profitable work with risk considerations.
- Experience advising alongside other professionals and managing cross-border employment workstreams is valuable.
- Interest in upskilling on employment law aspects of change projects, gender pay gap, minimum wage, employment status, intra-group transfers, and investigations.
- Experience in project management and coordinating multi-jurisdictional projects is advantageous.
