A leading higher education institution in London is seeking an Employment Compliance Officer to ensure immigration compliance and safeguarding. You will advise on sponsorship queries, maintain accurate records, and support new staff through essential checks. The ideal candidate is detail-focused with excellent customer service skills and an understanding of safeguarding regulations. Are you ready to make a real impact in a role where accuracy, safeguarding and people truly matter? LSBU is looking for a detail-focused and customer-centred Employment Compliance Officer to support immigration, safeguarding, and pre-employment compliance across our diverse education group.
As our Employment Compliance Officer, you'll be the go-to advisor for immigration and sponsorship queries, issuing Certificates of Sponsorship, tracking visa statuses, and ensuring every new starter passes essential right to work and DBS checks. You'll play a key role in safeguarding across the Group, maintaining Single Central Records, and keeping our systems accurate and audit-ready. You'll also support process improvements and provide administrative support to the Employment Services Team.
