Overview

This senior, fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a prestigious institution. Working closely with the Head of HR and other Employee Relations Managers, you will cover a wide range of HR issues with a high focus on employee relations. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, finding pragmatic solutions to the issues and navigating departmental managers through the University procedures/employment legislation to successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide expert Employee Relations support within GLAM HR Shared Service. Manage a diverse caseload of employee relations issues; develop pragmatic solutions; guide departmental managers through University procedures and employment legislation to achieve successful outcomes. Partner with the Head of HR and other Employee Relations Managers to align ER activity with organisational objectives.

Qualifications

Experience in Employee Relations; CIPD qualification at level 5 or above, or equivalent; significant experience in providing HR support in Employee Relations; proven expertise in managing complex HR cases; strategic thinker; proactive, confident, and solutions-driven; strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levels.
