Employee Benefits Adviser - Edinburgh

We have a vacancy for an Employee Benefits Adviser to join a well established team based in Edinburgh, Scotland. You will help to deliver the Secondsight employee focused advised and non-advised retirement planning, financial guidance and education propositions.

This will be a hybrid working role with a competitive benefits package on offer.

Responsibilities will include:

  • To provide friendly and engaging first class service to clients and their employees, following the company ethos of putting clients at the heart of service.
  • Conduct one–to-one advice meetings with employees regarding their workplace pension scheme using cashflow modelling software.
  • To be able to explain complex financial jargon in plain English.
  • Conduct and follow the Secondsight Retirement Planning, Retirement Snapshot and Financial Guidance Meeting processes.
  • Be responsible for hosting and presenting financial wellbeing presentations and tutorials on a variety of financial planning topics, including retirement planning, to groups of differing sizes.
  • Answer member queries via email and telephone.
  • Be proficient at using cashflow modelling software.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Make sure all client files are maintained in conjunction with company compliance standards.
  • To participate in appropriate company and departmental training, competence and development initiatives.
  • A resilient but friendly service-orientated person with a “can do” attitude.
  • Comfortable with having challenging conversations
  • Honesty, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Hardworking, able to work under pressure and be responsive to the need to deliver a high quality support service
  • Attention to detail and high standards of work
