A regional ambulance service in the United Kingdom is seeking Emergency Dispatchers to join their Control Room team. The role involves deploying emergency resources while ensuring high-quality clinical support and effective patient care. Candidates must have at least 2 years of customer-facing experience, possess 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, and demonstrate excellent communication and multitasking skills. The role follows a rotating shift pattern, covering days and nights, and includes a supportive mentoring process.

We are currently recruiting for Emergency Dispatchers to join our Control Room team at our Emergency Operations Centre in Chelmsford. The successful applicant will be responsible for the deployment of emergency ambulance resources and support the delivery of a high level of clinical quality and the best possible patient care. You will communicate with operational colleagues and teams within the Control Room to ensure the most appropriate emergency ambulance response and help is arranged.
This role will follow a relief rota (further information will be provided at interview)
This role involves working a rotating shift pattern which covers days and nights including weekends and special/public holidays.
