A leading healthcare provider in Stockport is looking for a Receptionist to provide a general reception service for the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills and the ability to work shifts. Responsibilities include answering telephone queries and ensuring efficient communication between clinical staff. This role offers various benefits including generous annual leave and salary schemes.
To provide a general reception service to all personnel who access the Emergency Department and Clinical Decisions Unit. This includes contact with the general public as well as a wide range of other health care professionals. The post holder will be required to use a designated computer system to enter patient data, combined with general office and clerical duties.

To provide a general reception service to all personnel who access the Emergency Department and Clinical Decisions Unit. The post holder will be required to use a designated computer system to enter patient data, combined with general office and clerical duties.
The post holder will be required to participate in the Departments rota system, which includes nights, weekends and bank holidays. The role requires rotation through the various Departments within the Emergency Department such as ED main Reception, RAU ambulance desk, Clinical Decisions Unit and potentially Paediatrics.

If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £26.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
