Overview

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement test plans, procedures, and fixtures for electronic components.
  • Perform functional, electrical, and physical testing in line with industry standards (e.g., AS6171).
  • Record, analyse, and report test results accurately.
  • Maintain calibration and proper use of test equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to resolve component issues.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Background in electronics or electrical engineering with hands-on experience in testing.
  • Proficient with multimeters, power supplies, microscopes, X-Ray (2D & 3D), FTIR/Raman spectroscopy, XRF, mechanical decapsulation, acoustic coupling, and acid bath testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Familiarity with ESD practices and industry standards (AS6081/AS6171) desirable.
  • Experience with LabVIEW or alternative test software advantageous.
  • Willingness to undergo training on specialist equipment if needed.
