Electronics Engineer – Defence Sector

Location: Weymouth, England (On-site) | Clearance: Eligible for UK Security Clearance

Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer looking to take ownership of innovative design projects in the Defence industry?

We’re looking for someone with strong analogue and digital design expertise to join a skilled engineering team. You’ll be responsible for developing electronic solutions from concept through to customer acceptance, with exposure to the full product lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing
  • Designing electronic circuits and systems (analogue & digital).
  • Taking projects from concept to production, including integration and testing.
  • Producing design documentation and ensuring compliance with CE/UKCA and MoD standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and external test houses.
  • Providing occasional on-site support for installation and maintenance.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Broad design experience: power supplies, analogue conditioning, FPGA interfaces, EMC compliance.
  • Skilled in ECAD tools (Cadence OrCAD desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability.
  • Eligible for UK Security Clearance (essential).
