Job Title: Electronic Test Engineer

Are you an experienced Electronic Test Engineer looking to join a growing, innovative business?

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to carry out product testing and support the production team in Worcester.

This role involves testing PCB assemblies, products, looms, and control panels, ensuring all equipment meets strict quality standards.

A skills test will form part of the selection process to assess your ability, including reading and interpreting basic electrical and electronic drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Test PCBs, products, looms, and basic control panels in line with departmental test procedures.
  • Review and improve test procedures, highlighting issues or missing functionality.
  • Support colleagues with system testing to help meet production and project deadlines.
  • Write clear and accurate departmental test reports.
  • Program PCBs and record test times using the company's data collection system.
  • Assist with the assembly of the clients DACS units.
  • Carry out PAT testing of new equipment.
Main Activities
  • Daily testing of PCBs, products, and electrical sub-assemblies (e.g. looms, valves).
  • Update test procedures in collaboration with the Technical Lead.
  • Ensure adherence to production priorities and timescales.
Qualifications
  • Solid experience of analogue and digital electronics.
  • Ability to follow written test procedures and interpret electrical/electronic drawings.
  • Strong PC literacy (Word, Excel) and accurate record keeping.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Consistent ability to meet deadlines.
