Electronic Rework Technician

Location: Heathrow

Job Type : Full-Time. Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Rework Technician to support the assembly, rework, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems in an aerospace environment. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from engineering documentation and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electronic rework, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Conduct functional testing and verification to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Operate electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
  • Complete accurate documentation in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements
  • Follow safety, quality, and aerospace regulatory standards
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
Experience
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Avionics, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience
  • 2+ years of experience in electronic rework, avionics, or electronics manufacturing
  • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Hands‑on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • IPC soldering and wiring experience
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuitry
