Job summary

A technology services company is seeking a motivated Service Engineer to support, install, and repair electro-mechanical equipment for customers across the UK and internationally. The role involves providing technical support, diagnosing and servicing instruments, and delivering training. Candidates must have proven experience in an electro-mechanical environment, HNC/HND in a relevant discipline, and a full UK driving license. The position requires travel within the UK and overseas as needed, with good communication and practical skills essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an electro-mechanical environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Able to lift and handle equipment when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and site visits.
• Diagnose, repair and service instruments within agreed turnaround times.
• Install systems and deliver customer training.
• Maintain accurate service reports and customer records.
• Assist with product testing and occasional instrument builds.
• Promote service contracts and parts.
