Salary: £36,066.96 per annum + 5% additional in recognition of weekend working
Contract: Permanent - 39hrs per week - Monday to Sunday. On-call responsibility (paid extra) after settling in period.

We are a five‑year‑old Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time‑bound services to HMPPS, and we are looking for an Electrician (Level 2) with the following qualifications.

  • Fully qualified electrical tradesperson to NVQ level 2 in an Electrotechnical services or equivalent.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Future Plans.

GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
