Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Panel Wiring Electrician to join our dynamic engineering team. This role involves the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, as well as supporting the maintenance and repair of electrical systems across our operations.

Job Description:
  • Wire and assemble electrical control panels from schematic diagrams and layout drawings.
  • Conduct testing and fault-finding on panels and electrical systems.
  • Assist with general electrical maintenance and repairs across the site.
  • Support installation and commissioning of electrical components on customer sites when required.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
  • Any relevant electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2330, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in panel wiring and electrical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems is desirable.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
