Sheffield covering the North

£39,799 - £41,894 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our team based in West Yorkshire. The role involves a variety of lone and team work with varied responsibilities. You will be primarily responsible for inspection and testing on occupied properties, producing Electrical Condition Reports, and remedial works. A company van and power tools will be provided, and training will be available as needed.

The role of Electrician includes:

  • Inspecting and testing properties, completing remedial works to ensure safety and compliance
  • Completing all paperwork and producing certification for works undertaken
  • Monitoring and maintaining van stock and ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition

Skills and experience required:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3, inspection and testing 2391 or equivalent, BS5839-6, BS5839-1, BS 7671 - 18th Edition, or currently undertaking these qualifications. Original certification must be brought to the interview; copies and CSCS cards are not accepted.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose problems and implement solutions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Full valid UK driving licence, as the role involves driving on company business
